Many people today—inside and outside of the church context—are weighed down with brokenness and regrets from sexual choices, identity confusion and unwanted encounters.

They need to know about the new way of life available through Jesus Christ. And there are countless others who are searching for answers of how to follow Jesus with compassion and conviction, in a sex-saturated, polarized culture.

For this reason, it is our absolute joy to be able to host The Called Conference on April 10-11, 2026 as a gathering place for spiritual formation and sexual discipleship. It will be a space for gospel-centred conversations about sex, identity & relationships, and an invitation to be transformed in the presence of God.

Register today and save your spot at The Called Conference 2026.

This event will be hosted in partnership by Renewed & Transformed Ministries and The Union Movement.

Kyla: The People Who Stayed: A Community’s Journey Through De-transition

Kyla Gillespie will be joined by some of her close friends and church community, who walked beside her through her struggles with gender dysphoria and transition,  and now de-transition and restoration. Together, they will share wisdom on how to approach hard conversations, walk in patience, and make room for the Lord to do what only He can do in changing someone’s heart.

Bryan & Bonnie: Happy Courting: A Conversation about Dating, Compatibility and Situation-ships

Though young people are dating later and less frequently than previous generations, studies show that men and women are still hoping to find the love of their life and settle down. But in a digitally-distanced world with hot debates about “the patriarchy” and modern feminism, it can be hard to figure out how to get close enough to make that happen. In this session, Bryan and Bonnie will have some candid conversation about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to intentional relationships.

Layton & Chelsea: Counterfeits: How Pornography Distorts Personhood and Purpose

Pornography doesn’t just shape behaviour — it obscures identity. Chelsea and Layton unpack how pornography operates as a counterfeit of God’s design for intimacy, identity, and purpose. Blending real-life stories, neuroscience, and Scripture, this session will demonstrate how pornography affects the brain, mars our understanding of ourselves and others, and quietly robs us of our calling in Christ. But this message is not one of shame — it is an invitation to reclaim true identity, true intimacy, and the greater purpose God has for our lives.

Jonathan Bryden: Walking in Surrender in the Midst of Singleness and Same-Sex Attraction

In this session you will hear a powerful reminder from Jonathan Bryden about how when Jesus’ calls us to discipleship, He does not avoid matters of our sexuality or relationship status. We are called to trust God and obey His word, not just when it comes easily, but even when we don’t see what the future will hold.

Chelsea, Women’s Session — Redeemed Identity

Chelsea shares how betrayal became the catalyst for looking inward, uncovering long-standing wounds of low self-worth, and confronting the false narratives that she had carried for years. What felt like devastation became an exhortation to discover how God truly sees her — chosen, secure, and deeply loved. This session calls women to lay down limiting labels, silence internalized lies, and step into a redeemed identity that no betrayal can take away.

Bryan, Layton and Jim, Men’s Session — Becoming a Good Man

We live in a world that often dismisses masculinity as toxic or dispensable, but the Word of God and history are in agreement—good men are essential for a thriving society. In this session, you’ll hear from the collective wisdom of Jim Anderson, Layton Boeve and Bryan Pue, on what authentic masculinity is really about.

Kyla—Grace & Truth: A Redemptive Way to Love”

In our cultural climate, the church hears so much about its need to just love LGBTQ people. This may seem simple enough, but when our culture and God’s Word define love differently, it leaves many confused on what to do. In this session, Kyla calls us to a deeply personal invitation to follow Jesus’ example in John 1:14—learning how to love LGBTQ+ people with genuine compassion while truthfully remaining rooted in God’s design for sex and marriage. Kyla shares from her own journey and from Scripture, offering a tender, gospel-centered vision for relationships, discipleship, and living out the Great Commission with both courage and humility.

Bonnie — Awkward: Having Conversations with Your Kids about Sexuality and Culture

We’re supposed to be the grown-ups, yet most of us still get a little awkward when it comes to talking to our kids about sex. In this session, Bonnie will highlight how important it is for us to acknowledge our past experiences, the messaging coming at us, and the framework passed down to us from our family of origin. You’ll be encouraged to develop the atmosphere in your home so you can begin guiding those awkward—yet intentional—conversations with your sons and daughters.
